This was the client’s childhood home. They gutted the house and began to rebuild it. Having worked on their Coventry home a few years earlier, they approached me for the interior. Knowing that the cabinetry would be white, typical for a Cape Cod home, I selected the granite from a stone source on the Cape so the clients could view the slabs in person. The selected granite and tile reflect a subtle coastal feel appropriate for a shoreline home. The custom couches and swivel chairs were designed to fit the space. The lamp between the swivel chairs was the inspiration for the fabrics used on the custom seating and pillows.
